Scalpel's assistants are wiry, creepy little robots that help Scalpel follow the orders of Megatron.
Fiction
[edit]Revenge of the Fallen
[edit]While Scalpel was examining Sam Witwicky, two robots reminiscent of the Insecticons flew over Sam, dropping a mechanical horror onto him. Scalpel ordered it to go into Sam in order to scan his brain for information on the location of the Tomb of the Primes. The robot entered the mouth, wormed around a bit inside Sam's skull (not a terribly pleasant experience), and finally exited through the gagging human's mouth again. Scalpel grabbed the machine and tore it apart, extracting the data it had mined from the remains. Revenge of the Fallen
Notes
[edit]- The novel adaptation of the movie describes three distinct kinds of robotic instruments.
- A swarm of insect-like fliers with wings.
- Two "menacing machines" that held Sam's mouth open.
- A worm-like robot that entered Sam's mouth and read his mind.
