• This story was published as the November 2023 issue of the web comic and advertised War for Cybertron: Kingdom Inferno and the first collected edition of Go! Go!.

Transformers references

• Inferno makes his Go! Go! debut with a character model derived from the Kingdom toy being advertised, as per usual.

Real-world references

• The upside down mop thing Inferno wields in this issue is a kind of traditional Japanese firefighting tool called a matoi (纏), probably best known to western audiences as the signature weapon(?) of the fireman protagonist of hit Studio Trigger film Promare and those of Special Fire Force Company 7 from the manga Fire Force. Actually a funky kind of flag, the standard is designed to be twirled from the top of a nearby building. The resultant hard-to-miss flailing jellyfish acts as a sort of emergency beacon, warning away civilians while directing other firefighters to the site of the fire.
• The campfire cookout meanwhile is a recipe for yaki-imo (焼き芋), a common street dish of roasted sweet potato.
• The wooden pieces that Bumblebee is holding on the title page is a hyōshigi (拍子木), wood or bamboo clappers connected by a rope that's used in traditional Japanese theaters like Kabuki and bunraku (puppet theater), as well used in parts of a festival.
• The vest Bumblebee is wearing says "Autobot Fire Department" オートボット消防団 (しょうぼうだん shouboudan), shouboudan indicating volunteer firefighters in Japan.
