John Walker is an American animation director, producer and animator who was a producer on the first two seasons of The Transformers. His work dates back to the 1950s, on such shows as Bozo: The World's Most Famous Clown, The Dick Tracy Show, Harlem Globe Trotters, and Calvin and the Colonel. During the late '70s, he was an animator at Hanna Barbera on SuperFriends, Godzilla and Scooby Doo. He was also a producer on G.I. Joe, and a director on the Smurfs and Bionic Six. He continued animating well into the '90s.
