Part of the first wave of Prime: Beast Hunters Series 3 Cyberverse Legion Class toys, Twinstrike comes with the "Piston Hammer" which can also be used as a cannon. His dragon head hands can hold the weapon via the latter's three 3mm posts, and he and the weapon feature numerous 3mm mounting points.

The Piston Hammer mold was also used, in varying colors, by Prowl, Blight, and Rot Gut.

Part of the Beast Hunters: Predacons Rising subline imprint, the Abominus gift set included translucent purple versions of the component robots individual weapons, including the Piston Hammer. Aside from the plastic color, it is unchanged from the regular release.

Part of the first wave of 2014 Beast Hunters Deluxe Class toys, Twinstrike includes a larger and more detailed version of the Piston Hammer, cast in a slightly metallic purple plastic. With its larger scale, the hammer is adorned with loads of molded details, adding sculpted drills onto the head of the hammer. The weapon has a 5mm port and post on the sides of the head and can be mounted on Twinstrike's hips or tail in beast mode.
