A compression cannon is a weapon that takes normally harmless air and brings it under pressure, then fires it with enough force to shatter steel, or crush a target.

Beastbox carried two compression cannons that fired ultra-concentrated air pressure. Beastbox's More than Meets the Eye profile These were also known as air cannons.
