This page is for keeping track of toys that have been reissued years after their initial release. This is primarily for keeping track of two things in one place:

  • Toys that have been reissued after their initial release year, unaltered down to the packaging.
  • Toys that have been straight transplanted into other unrelated toylines after their initial release year. This may include package changes, but the toy itself must not be altered in any way.

So far I'm pretty sure all of these are Hasbro reissues, and this page's main section will by default refer to Hasbro reissues, but if TakaraTomy has done any I'll make a section for them too. If I get wind of any non-CHUG unmodified reissues, I will add them here too.

Straight Reissues

This section is for toys that have been reissued after their initial release year down to the same packaging.

Package refreshes need not be listed here, since that article already lists them. Certain examples like the Commemorative Series Asian Hasbro releases will not be listed here due to package changes, along with some changes to the toys themselves like Optimus Prime's trailer using a different shade of grey on its reissue, or Ultra Magnus having a modified hitch on its reissue.

Titans Return (2016 - 2017)
Siege (2019) Earthrise (2020)
Legacy: Evolution (2023)
Studio Series '86 (2021 - ) Gamer Edition (2023 - )

Toyline Transplants

This section is meant for toys that have been designed for one toyline and then shoved into another completely unaltered.

What goes here:

  • Being part of one continuity family's toyline and clearly designed with that continuity in mind, but being transplanted into a totally different one with zero modifications to the toy itself, not even a redeco or repaint.
    • For example, being a part of a market six toyline with obvious G1 or evergreen aesthetics, and then getting shoved into a movie toyline for whatever reason.

What doesn't go here:

Generation 1

Titan Changers
Smash Changers
