EMP-grenades are non-lethal weapons resembling small silver spheres. When used, they open and unleash an electromagnetic pulse which disables any Transformers in the immediate vicinity.

[edit]During the Great War, EMP Grenades were utilized by Scout Class warriors, and were used to disable sensors. When affected by the blast, a Transformer could still move around and use his weaponry, but their sensors and heads up display would be scrambled.
