[edit]After escaping from Cybertron, the Mini-Cons' ship crashed on the Moon, with a portion of the ship separating and falling to Earth where Science City would be in the future. In modern times, Rad fell into a cavern containing the Mini-Cons and accidentally activated the Mini-Con homing device and the Mini-Cons themselves.
The Mini-Cons got acquainted with the human children, but the Decepticons and Autobots on Cybertron detected the homing beacon and transported to Earth. Armada #3 Arriving directly in Science City, Megatron pursued the Mini-Cons to outside the city, where the Decepticons, humans, and Mini-Cons met the Autobots in Sun Valley. Armada #4
