Description
This a generic template for tagging screen captures. Before using this template, please check Category:Screen capture templates for a more specific template.
Usage
Parameters
Optional
- source - The show, game, movie or other visual media that this screen capture was taken from. Defaults to "a cartoon/anime/motion picture/TV commercial/video game". If not provided, a note will be shown reminding the uploader to add them when they are known.
- screencap - Custom text that will appear in place of 'screen capture' in the beginning of the description.
- owner - Who owns the copyright on this image?
Code
{{Screencap
|source=
|screencap=
|owner=
}}
Examples
Code
{{screencap|source=The Touch music video}}
Result
This image is a screen capture from The Touch music video, the copyright for which is owned by the production company who produced/owned the image. It is believed that low resolution images or small excerpts may be used on MediaWiki under the fair use provision of United States copyright law. See Copyrights.
