When it absolutely, positively must be destroyed overnight.

Each member of the Demolition Team is an expert in engineering and construction, which makes them all the more effective at their actual function: turning things into piles of unidentifiable rubble. Allied with the Decepticons, these guys are sent in first to weaken Autobot fortifications, making it easier for the main army to swarm in.

The Demolition Team consists of...

Sometimes they are known as the Demolition Patrol.

Though the Demolition Team survived the Great War, they opted not to return to Cybertron once it became clear the planet was ruled by the Autobots and Neutrals. Six years later, they were recruited by Bludgeon into the Decepticon Vengeance Division, serving as the bridge crew of his Worldsweeper. At Starscream's command, the DVD set out for G Nebula 89 to do battle with Unicron. The fleet's attempt to contain and destroy the Chaos Bringer failed miserably owing to Bludgeon's loyalty to the monster who simply teleported away before unleashing the Maximals on the flagship much to the Demolition Team's fear and horror. Stranger Eons

Like the rest of the fleet, the Demolition Team was mutated into Maximal-like forms by Ore-11 to serve as Unicron's heralds when the Chaos Bringer attacked Cybertron itself. When Victorion boarded the flagship, they served as the nominal resistance. Our Finest After Unicron had destroyed Cybertron, the fleet jumped to the Sol system where the Demolition Team proclaimed their loyalty to Unicron and their inability to feel their faces. Road's End

As the fleet began their final approach over Earth, the Demolition Team noted that both Metroplex and Trypticon had vanished before the two Titans space bridged atop their ship. Assembly At Bludgeon's command, they set course for the Eastern Seaboard of the United States to wreak mindless destruction before the Dinobots boarded the warship. Even with their durability augmented by the Ore's power, the Demolition Team was heavily burnt by the Autobot commandos, dying soon after when the Worldsweeper crashed on the White House's lawn. • Demolition Team (Mini-Con Team, 2006)
Released in the first wave of Classics Mini-Con three-packs, the Demolition team are a trio of robots who turn into vehicles that, well, are generally suited to demolishing stuff: Broadside the tank, Sledge the backhoe loader, and Wideload the dump truck. In vehicle mode, each one has a "Powerlinx" socket that allows them to attach to larger toys with compatible plugs.
The Team's instructions erroneously say "Reverse order of instructions to convert back into beasts."
Each of these molds would be redecoed numerous times over the following years, but not always together; see the individual toys' pages for links to the subsequent redecoes.
