Silvanite

Silvanite (シルバナイト shirubanaito) is an "autonomous fluid metal" that changes characteristics depending on outside pressure. As such, it can provide a defensive barrier. Ginou is known to use silvanite as his "skin", and is able to transfer it to others as needed. His Silver Gun can also fire silvanite, covering its target with the substance.

During Megazarak's attack on the Kamchatka Peninsula in 2011, the protoype Trainbots were sent to assist the other Autobots, but they came under direct attack by the gigantic Headmaster. Yellow attempted to heal her crashed teammates when errant laserfire was about to hit her before Silver was able to use his silvanite to repel the attacks. This allowed Yellow time to revive their comrades and the reenergized unit went off into action again. The Junction

• As may already be apparent, "silvanite" is named after the metal silver (シルバー shirubā), in association with Ginou being codenamed "Silver" and being based on Diaclone Silverliner.
