When the Decepticons attacked the Neo Uranium Mine, the mining engineer rushed to report the incident to Frank. Together, the two monitored the status of the mine and the workers inside, concluding that they would soon die from asphyxiation. When the Autobots arrived to defuse the situation, the mining engineer was ordered to gather explosives for Frank so that he could assist the Autobots in creating a new tunnel to the mine.
