New Earth is a human colony planet.

In 2017, New Earth was attacked, leading the Earth Defense Command to declare all of human space off-limits to Cybertronians. Micro-Aggressions

The Master Renegade temporarily enslaved the people of New Earth with the Last Engineer's polymorphic inducer, which could turn anything into anything else.
