An escape pod left Cybertron before crash-landing on a wooded planet. A Cybertronian ventured out from the pod into the forest and sighted a growling orange blur. - Given getting sealed in other beings is the tailed beasts' whole deal in Naruto fiction, it's a little ambiguous whether the unnamed Transformer scanned the Naruto character Kurama for a beast mode or if Kurama is possessing them directly.
- In the Naruto anime, Kurama is voiced by Tesshō Genda in Japanese.
