Fiction
[edit]2005 IDW continuity
[edit]At some point, Lodestar was killed by Starscream. His death, like all those of his kind, was recorded and marked by the Necrobot by a flower containing a trace of his spark.
After Necroworld had been unknowingly shunted into the Functionist Universe, Nightbeat passed the time waiting for Rodimus's return by performing a forensic investigation on the flower that held the trace of Lodestar's spark signature. When he tried to boast about this, Brainstorm pointed out that the Necrobot had kept a comprehensive database of whose sparks made up each flower. A World Misplaced
Notes
[edit]- It's never outright said that Starscream was Lodestar's killer, but given that Turmoil's spark energy is part of the same flower, the Necrobot's rules for organizing the flowers mean it can be no one else.
