On the few occasions he ventures outside his Pretender shell, Gunrunner is armed with a plasma machine gun.

In robot mode Gunrunner was armed with a plasma machine gun, alongside two armor-piercing missiles that carried an explosive plasma charge. Gunrunner's More than Meets the Eye profile
Notes
- Gunrunner's original toy's instructions label this weapon generically as a rifle and it was not described in his packaging bio, meaning that his Dreamwave More than Meets the Eye profile was the first time it got a name.
