Best Join was a Taiwanese toy company which served as the pre-Transformers manufacturer for 1985's "Radio Robot" - a Transformers bootleg mashing together Generation 1 Megatron's head, Blaster's hips, Omega Supreme's arms, and Soundwave's lower legs - that was strangely released in 1987 by Argentinian company Comando Toys as Radio AM Robot, fully bearing the official Transformers license.
It is possible that Best Join is a rebranding of another Taiwanese company called Tai Fong, as the latter had released a different Transformers-inspired working radio toy called "Robotic Radio" just the year before which uses the same pieces for the dials and has a similar-looking copyright stamp. Notably, Tai Fong released quite a few other Transformers-like toys [1], whereas Best Join seems to be virtually unknown besides their Radio Robot (the company's name doesn't even show up on the packaging of its only known pre-Comando Toys release, you can only find it written on the figure's copyright stamp!).
Best Join moulds released as Transformers
