Slow time is a phenomenon where, for all beings experiencing it, ten cycles go by for every one nano-click of "normal time". Some Quintessons possess the ability to bend space-time enough to encase themself and other nearby beings in a bubble of slow time.
Fiction
Shattered Glass
Aquarius encased himself, Breakaway, Landquake, and Topspin (who were hiding from Alpha Trion and his followers) in a bubble of slow time so he could explain their situation and request their help uninterrupted. Unfortunately, the bubble expired before he could explain everything he needed to, and they had to make a run for it when Computron tore off the roof to pursue them right after they returned to normal time.
