Kazutami Yasuhiko (安彦一民 Yasuhiko Kazutami)[1] (born February 28, 1971) was a designer at Takara from about 1998 to 2009.

Known design projects

  • Base molds for the entire assortment:
TF AS-01 (Wave 1) TF AS-02 (Wave 2) TF AS-03 (Wave 3)

Notes

  • Yasuhiko designed a Choro-Q Robo version of Ultra Magnus, but it was not released.[2]
  • While Yasuhiko never worked on a mainline Transformers series, he contributed to Neo Henshin Cyborg, Henshin Cyborg 99, the reissue Microman line, SCF Takara SF Land, and COOLGIRL.[3] He's also credited as an author on the 2004 Microman Style MOOK,[4] and was involved with Takara's development of the Jikuu Keisatsu Wecker Signa tokusatsu series and merchandise.[5]
  • At some point he left Takara and joined MegaHouse, a subsidiary of Bandai. He has designed retro-inspired pieces for Kamen Rider[6] and Gundam,[7] but also more modern figures based on SSSS.Gridman.[8][9]
