Construction Patrol

The Construction Patrol is a team of Autobot Micromasters from the Generation 1 continuity family.

The Construction Patrol are hard as nails. Nails made of titanium steel, that is. Despite their tiny size, these burly bots are ultra-strong and extremely durable, and always ready to work until the job is done. Raising an advanced battlefield front-line fortification from common junk is no problem, so with the right materials, there's no limits to the wonders these tiny titans can create. Naturally, their strength makes them no slouches in combat, able to take down Transformers many times their size.

Fiction

2005 IDW continuity

The Construction Patrol appeared to be among the residents of Gorlam Prime who were cybernetically re-engineered by Jhiaxus to resemble Cybertronians. Working on behalf of Jhiaxus and the Dead Universe Transformers, the Construction Patrol attacked Nightbeat and Hardhead when they arrived on Gorlam Prime seeking answers to the Expansion. Takedown and Groundpounder, who are certainly in no way related to the Gorlamite cyborgs mentioned above, appeared in New Iacon after the war ended. They worked with Scoop as part of the Construction Patrol fixing up the city after the Decepticon uprising. Three Monologues

The Construction Patrol and Erector, under the command of Quickmix, were tasked with building the Nebulan end of the space bridge network in the Clar Macro-jungle. This probably didn't end well, thanks to the Dark Matrix creature tainting Fortress Maximus and taking control of the space bridge network. The War to End All Wars, Part 1

Released in the seventh (and final) year of Hasbro's US Transformers toyline (sixth and not-final year in European markets), the Construction Patrol are a team of four construction-vehicle Micromasters: Takedown the red cement mixer, Crumble the gray hook-crane, Groundpounder the orange payloader, and Neutro the yellow bulldozer. The four were only sold as a complete set.

In Takara's markets, the Team was released as the "Build Patrol Team", released in the Zone portion of Takara's Fight! Super Robot Lifeform Transformers toyline. They are physically identical to their Hasbro counterparts.
