After the Great War, a group composed of former Autobots and Decepticons, inspired by Earth's genre of rock music, began a tour of the cosmos in order to spread a new understanding among mechs and organics alike, even persuading a Quintesson Judge and an avatar of Unicron himself to join in....

At least, that's the story the Toronto-based filk band The Cybertronic Spree tells interviewers. Formed in 2013, the group started out doing covers of songs from The Transformers: The Movie before quickly expanding into songs from other films, anime and video games, as well as original material.
