Kyle Baker (born December 13, 1965 in Queens, New York) is a comic book artist, cartoonist and animator. At the tender age of 17, he became an intern at Marvel Comics and, as he got more and more work, ended up dropping out of the School of Visual Arts to pursue a career in comics. As well as working on many many titles for Marvel and D.C. Comics, he has written and drawn his own graphic novels, the first being The Cowboy Wally Show in 1988. Some of his more recent work has included Deadpool and Plastic Man, the latter of which won five Eisner Awards. He also draws cartoons and caricatures for newspapers and magazines, and has been involved in several animation projects, including the movie Looney Tunes: Back in Action.
