Otis Watson

Otis Watson is a human from the Bumblebee portion of the movie continuity family.

Otis Watson is Charlie's younger brother. His main pursuits in life are being a student of karate, in which he has reached the rank of yellow belt under Master Larry, and maintaining an ongoing sibling rivalry with his sister. Unlike her, he has largely gotten over the death of their father and accepted their mother's new boyfriend Ron. He also has a pet dog named Conan.

The day before Charlie's eighteenth birthday, Sally noted that Otis looked grown up in his karate gi and asked Charlie to make sure he didn't get abducted on his way to karate practice. Otis later watched ALF with Sally and Ron. The day after Charlie got a new car, Otis and Ron were eating breakfast together and discussing how long it would be before Otis would get to learn about nunchucks when they were surprised by Charlie's positive mood as she left for work. Moments later Charlie interrogated Otis about the whereabouts of her car, and he was able to tell her their mother had taken Conan to the vet in it.

A day later, Sally drove Otis home from karate practice to find the house had been trashed, including his TV. As it turned out, the government thought Charlie had stolen some of their equipment, and Otis later caught Charlie sneaking out of the house after being sent to her room. Charlie managed to persuade him not to alert their mother, and filled him in on the fact her new car was a transforming space robot. She tasked him with keeping their mother in the dark while she and her friend Memo went to McKinnon Air Base to rescue Bumblebee.

Otis's attempt at subterfuge lasted about thirty seconds before Sally made him spill everything, and the pair, along with Ron, went in search of Charlie in the station wagon. When Charlie and Bumblebee were racing to the port to prevent the Decepticons from calling in an army, the Watsons heard a radio report and joined in as Sector Seven pursued the Autobot. Some deft driving by Ron resulted in a near accident, which Otis labeled "radical" before throwing up. After the world was saved, Otis apologized for telling on Charlie, but she forgave and thanked him, as his doing so had ultimately saved her. Bumblebee
