[edit]Brainstorm built the device after his early warning system was kicking in too late. When Team Rodimus was assembled, the scientist used the device to determine the danger of handling Rodimus's apparent future corpse, and pegged the situation at "Uh-oh!" Despite this apparently being an acceptable level of risk, the Lost Light suddenly beginning to wink out of existence was not, and the warning system advocated that the crew run for their lives. Predestination: A Beginner's Guide
After leaving Necroworld, Brainstorm rebuilt the device to play audio snippets from famous voices (such as Optimus Prime and Megatron) when it gave its warnings. He showed it off to Nautica and had her guess the voices. Sardines
After Team Rodimus had seemingly been brought to the Afterspark, the Early Early Warning System came with Brainstorm and continually broadcasted "Uh-oh!" despite the scientist's attempts to silence it. After a meeting with Roller and Springarm, the device overheated. Brainstorm was sure that was a good sign. Metastasis
After the device had cooled down, it led Brainstorm's group to a temple. Once he and Nautica entered, they were met by Quark, the shock of seeing him causing Brainstorm to drop the device. After the microscope declared his love for Brainstorm and led him away, Nautica went to pick up the device only to find it now red hot. The God War
