A shimmer field allows a group of individuals to remain undetected as long as they stay within its radius.

Megatron had a clandestine meeting with Shockwave under the cover of a shimmer field. The Cracks Beneath Your Feet Part Four Suspecting treachery, the Companions used a shimmer field to cloak their presence while Pyra Magna parlayed with Strika.
