His voice could be heard in many Saban Entertainment productions, playing Rito Revolto in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, Deviot in Power Rangers: Lost Galaxy, Shadowborg in Big Bad Beetleborgs and numerous characters throughout the first four seasons of Digimon. Some of his other characters include J in Heat Guy J, Katsuhito Masaki in nearly all incarnations of the Tenchi franchise and Ken-Goh in Eureka Seven. In addition to his voice work, Papenbrook also taught martial arts and kickboxing and was the father of voice actor Bryce Papenbrook.
