Would it not be worth merging this with White Leo's page? The design is so blatantly meant to be that character that it just feels like a fairly standard case of alternate naming rather than a new character warranting its own page. :Better not. Unless TakTom decides to release him as the said character. FigureGunplaFan (talk) 11:12, 10 October 2016 (EDT)
::A homage does not make them the same character. One is an anthropomorphic lion; the other is a Cybertronian robot that turns into a head. And mold reuse will make Daburu far from unique in looking like White Leo. Saix (talk) 11:21, 10 October 2016 (EDT)

Circling back to this because the intervening 9 1/2 years has only made this page's existence (and the other TR Monsterbot Headmasters's pages) and the arguments against merging it with White Leo more ridiculous. The same figure (with deco changes admittedly) was released by Takara as White Leo, which is listed on a separate page from this. But both these pages link back to the same page for the main figure they came with (Titan Returns Twinferno and Legends Doublecross). It is a nonsense double-standard that the different names and decos for Twinferno/Doublecross are, correctly, treated as regional variants of the same character while for their partners it's grounds for treating them as separate entities. The fact that the section for the only fiction "Daburu" has appeared in has a note pointing out that it considers him as the same character as the White Leo really underlines how farcical the policy is, and that frankly that should have been grounds for merging them then. This is a prime example of this wiki needlessly over-complicating itself to no tangible benefit. Danja (talk) 10:56, 13 January 2026 (EST)
:I am sympathetic to this argument. S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent 47 (talk) 12:34, 13 January 2026 (EST)
::Yeah, I can't really see any value to keeping this as its own page. It seems equivalent to Nebulan Headmasters vs Cybertronian Titan Masters, to me. --Broadside (talk) 12:41, 13 January 2026 (EST)
:::I assume we'll be sensible and keep the articles under the original Beastformer names, so I think it's fine to merge them. Saix (talk) 12:58, 14 January 2026 (EST)
