[edit]- Necronom IV is the name of the H. R. Giger painting that inspired the xenomorph from the Alien movie franchise. Alien fandom has sometimes repurposed the painting's name as that of a hypothetical home planet for the creatures, and the Almanac followed that train of thought. The planet's closeness to Yautja alludes to the Alien vs. Predator franchise.
