Ironically, I use the Micromaster "official" robot height of 7 feet average to determine my "ideal" toy scale: O-scale (1:43).

I also assume most bots' alt-modes do not grow/shrink with few exceptions, such as Soundwave, Megatron, Blaster and cassette-bots.
