That looks painful.

The Matrix of Opression is a powerful relic that houses the essence of all previous Decepticon leaders. It imbues its wielder with the abilities to command and dominate the weak, bending their every action to its user’s will.

Where the Matrix of Leadership draws its power from Primus, the Matrix of Oppression is imbued with the wrath of The Fallen, the ill-fated Prime exiled for betraying his brethren. From his wrath, any soul unfortunate enough to be deemed worthy are placed under his indefinite servitude, and are granted a number of supernatural abilities such as mind control, self and ally regeneration, and even reanimation from otherwise fatal damage.

Notes

  • The spiky, purple, crystalline protrusions visually recall Dark Energon, a thematically similar "evil power-boost" Megatron used in Prime.
