The Robots in Disguise version of Car Robots takes place in Metro City rather than Tokyo. As such, the structure in "An Explosive Situation" technically is not Tokyo Tower.

Wildride drove up Tokyo Tower to get a better view of the city and, with that, Destronger activity.

Some time later, Wildride came back down to steal an energy bomb from the Destrongers, but he accidentally activated it. In order to limit the damage it could do to the city, Mach Alert suggested he'd take it to the highest structure he could think of. Wildride's thoughts immediately went to the Tokyo Tower, which this time he swung and towed himself to the top of, closely followed by Gelshark who wanted the bomb to power up the Megastar. The tower was not high enough to let the bomb detonate safely though, but Fire Convoy had a plan. He ordered Wildride to throw it as high as he could and from the ground, Fire Convoy used his water cannon to send both the bomb and Gelshark into space. High Speed Battle! Gelshark

Transformers Roleplaying Game

[edit]

While battling an obnoxious energy creature, the Autobots defeated their foe by coating the Tokyo Tower with a special liquid. However, the Cybertronian technology made the tower an attractive target for Decepticon raiders. To keep an eye on this potential trouble spot, Wheeljack built an Autobot Road entrance somewhere near the tower. Roleplaying Game Core Rulebook
