[edit]Wild King W retains the same basic play pattern as its predecessor, with smaller Energy Beasts forming limbs to attach to Energy Master figures to create bigger, badder bots. In fact, the new Energy Beasts use the same core molding and engineering as the originals.
Basically the biggest changes (so far) are that the first new Energy Master in the line is now a triple-changer, and the seeming removal of Autobots and Decepticons from the proceedings.
