| The name or term "Scavenger" refers to more than one character or idea. For a list of other meanings, see Scavenger (disambiguation). |
- Scavenger is a Vehicon from the Beast Machines portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

Scavenger loves to smash stuff, and he's quite good at it. Falling under under the command of Tankor, Scavenger and his identical demolition drones exist for a single purpose—destruction. It doesn't matter if it's a building or a Maximal, they'll roll right through it, relying on their heavy armor to protect them. Anything they can't knock over, run over, tear apart with their clawed hands, or crush in their crane-mode jaws, they attack using electric currents produced from the galva-conductors on their backs. Or blast with missiles. Or perforate with cannon fire. Or all three. At once. In the FACE.

Universe: The Wreckers

Megatron sent Scavenger drones and Mirage drones to fight alongside the generals Spy Streak, Blastcharge, and Quake and their respective drones to guard an old Autobot shuttle from the Wreckers, who wished to use it to get offworld. It was quite the welcoming party.
A number of the Scavenger drones were destroyed by the Wreckers in the ensuing close-quarters melee. Those that weren't wrecked by the Wreckers ended up caught in the blast that consumed the facility as the shuttle launched. Departure
The Razor's Edge
In the days leading up to the Pax Cybertronia, Flamewar (disguised as the original Megatron) manufactured a large number of Scavenger drones on the conquered planet of Nibari. She attempted to use them against three Maximals and a local insurgents' army. However, the insurgents had rewired the drones to obey their commands, and they quickly overpowered and defeated Flamewar.
After the Maximals' departure, the native Nibarians planned to convert the drones to tools of construction and repair. The Razor's Edge

Beast Machines

- Scavenger (Basic, 2000)
- Part of the first wave of Beast Machines Basics, Scavenger transforms into a Cybertronic treaded destruction vehicle. A plunger mechanism on the back of the "shovel" opens and closes the vehicle's crusher jaw. Its spark crystal is located in the "control tower" behind a flip-down panel.
- This mold was also used to make Robots in Disguise Scavenger.
Notes
- Scavenger had the pre-release name of Destructicon.
