Light Speed was to have been an Autobot from the Generation 2 continuity family.
You have to be pretty desperate to cop Blowout's motto.

Light Speed was to have been an Autobot. It's possible that he pursued and captured people and really liked to race. It's also possible that his true background was so imperative to the Autobot cause that it was rendered entirely in secret code. Who's to say?
