I think calling Mosaic "official" for the purposes of this article is something of a stretch. There's an "it's not official" disclaimer at the bottom of every installment. :If Mosaic isn't official do Van Reyk and Knowler really qualify as fan fiction writers having made the jump to official media to begin with?
