That article is full of hilarious misinformation. Armada is a G1 prequel? The movie is a seperate continuity?
But I don't think the Keepers Trilogy was the only place Prime's early form was Optronix, and looking up Ben Yee's old review of WWI #1 [1], I see he used the term, but I don't have the issue with me to check myself.
