- Insecticon is a Predacon from the Beast Era portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.
Insecticon is a typical Predacon soldier, hungry for battle, yet cowardly when he is outnumbered. A voyeuristic sort, he enjoys his main function of surveillance and uses his skills to gather blackmail material on foes and comrades alike. Sounds familiar.

Beast Wars
- Insecticon (Basic, 1996)
- Insecticon transforms into a blue and green organic stag beetle. His <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/elytron" class="extiw" title="wikipedia:elytron">elytra</a> can be flipped open to reveal two halves of his weapon, which must be fitted together to form a crossbow. It does not fire anything, but it still looks cool.
