Nicholas works for America's super-spy organization S.H.I.E.L.D. with his pal Dum-Dum. When the Transformers cause their first ruckus upon waking up in 1984, Nicholas hopes they aren't "that big green fire-snortin' lizard" again.
Note: Nicholas was apparently the Marvel Comics character, Nick Fury. His inclusion was another way to include the 4-issue miniseries into the Marvel Universe
