The name or term "Meltdown" refers to more than one character or idea. For a list of other meanings, see Meltdown (disambiguation).
Meltdown is a Decepticon Micromaster in the Generation 1 continuity family.
Don't make me angry... you wouldn't like me when I'm angry...

Meltdown is full of rage. His battle plan (regardless of what his commander, Direct-Hit, orders him to do) is always to charge right in, ramming his opponents, then transforming to robot mode to bludgeon them to death. He regards this as a perfectly sensible approach to anger management.[1]

His combiner partner on the Battle Squad is Half-Track.

Generation 1

  • Battle Squad (Microsoft Combiner Squad, 1990)
Meltdown transforms into a wheeled truck, which is intended to be the front half of a blue anti-aircraft half-track that he forms with his combiner partner Half-Track. He can, of course, be connected to any other Micromaster Combiner.
Meltdown was only available in a six-pack with his squad mates Half-Track, Direct-Hit, Fireshot, Power Punch and Vanquish.
