Saber is a Mini-Con from the Energon portion of the Unicron Trilogy.
Saber is one of many power-enhancing Mini-Cons who help the Autobots search the galaxy for pure Energon.
(Note: Saber's name is most likely a shortened version of "Star Saber", as the first three Micron Booster assortment "headliners" have names similar to Japanese Autobot leaders.)
Toy
Saber's only toy is a chromed redeco of the Mini-Con Thunderclash. He was sold as part of the third Micron Booster assortment (called "Ver.2") in Japan, in individual, blind-packed boxes so you did not know which Mini-Con you got until you opened the box and opaque black plastic bag inside. Saber was a "chaser" toy, available only in every other case of 12. In cases without a Saber in it, the space was filled with a duplicate of one of the other 11 toys in the assortment.
