Cybertronian Radial is a brand of tire used by numerous Transformers, most notably during their Alternators upgrades. Even though the toys were licensed car models, the toys didn't sport tires with real-life manufacturers' markings as initially intended; instead, they all sported tires branded "Cybertronian Radial". The most likely reason for this is that Hasbro and Takara would probably have had to acquire separate licenses from the tire manufacturers to use their trademarks on the toys:

  • Early test shots for Smokescreen featured Bridgestone Potenza tires.
  • Early test shots for Side Swipe featured Michelin Pilot Sport tires.
  • A rough design sketch published in the Japanese Transformers: Binaltech & TF Collection Complete Guide book indicates that Tracks was originally supposed to sport "Goodyear Eagle" tires. The same design sketch also depicts the proposed change to the final toy's "Cybertronian Radial" tires.
  • Early test shots for Meister featured Bridgestone Potenza RE711 (Ultra High Performance) tires.

All the branded tires on Alternators test shots have distinctive threads that look similar to the original tire.

20th Anniversary Optimus Prime, on the other hand, had no problem keeping the well-known Desert Dog Formula brand.
