The name Ironhide has been applied to several different Transformers characters.
- 1984 — Ironhide the Autobot (and later Maximal) security officer from Generation 1. For toys of this character, see Ironhide (G1) toys.
- 2000 — Ironhide the Autobot Spy Changer pickup truck from Robots in Disguise.
- 2003 — Ironhide the desert buggy Mini-Con partner to Terrorsaur from Armada.
- 2007 — Ironhide the Autobot GMC Topkick pickup truck from the 2007 film.
- 2008 — Ironhide the guy who looks just like the G1 'Hide from Transformers Animated.
"Ironhide" is also the Japanese name for the Armada Decepticon Demolishor.
Ironhide should not be confused with...
- Ironfist, the Autobot Lightformer Humvee from Generation 2.
- Iron Lift, the Autobot Micromaster Sixbuilder from Generation 1/Micromaster Collection.
- Transformers named "Armorhide".
