| RE: [[Packrat]], [[Fractyl]], etc.: At what point does "speculation" become unsuitable for this Wiki when we're dealing with a storyline that can't be explained without severe untangling and hole-filling? Is it a matter of phrasing or italicizing? The bits you deleted weren't random, Neale-style "apocrypha." Those characters are on the outskirts of a major time-travel storyline that ends with an entire timeline being negated, canonically. And there are good reasons to think that their BW adventures went "poof" along with the rest. (See Derik and my discussion on [[Vice Grip]].) No, it's not a NECESSARY conclusion, nor did I suggest that it was. Also, I left Amazon's white space intact because '''wide''' images are easier to format the page to than '''tall''' images. Tall images, without enough text, either cuts into other sections or create massive whitespace. When you upload an image on top of an old one, the old file gets renamed to YearMonthDayHourMinuteSecond!(oldname) on the server (I forget if it's the time it was uploaded, or the time you upload the replacement, but I suspect the former). | Those are a bit harder to do in one big swoop. I was sticking to cleaning out the speedy deletion queue, as there's nothing lost if I just delete the whole dang category's contents. That category you've pointed out is a mixed bag, as it has more than a few legitimate images in it. Likely good to hold off on those until Derik has sicced the bot on 'em, unless you feel like tagging them by hand. As it is I ended up deleting around 800 of 'em from the speedy cat, so I'm kind of pooped.
