Tread is a Decepticon from the Revenge of the Fallen franchise in the live-action film continuity family.

Tread and Trample are twin multi-armed excavators. They are loyal to Megatron and came to Earth with hopes of reviving their fallen leader.

Tread, naturally, has very close relationship to his twin Trample. To a certain extent, he can sense what is happening to him.

Kickback, Tread, and Trample came to Earth with the hope of reviving their leader Megatron. To complete this task, the three of them took on the forms of construction vehicles and set to work mining uranium in the Australian outback. With enough energy, they hoped to jump-start Megatron's spark.
