Alex Kurtzman (born September 7, 1973) is an American film and television producer and screenwriter. Together with his friend and writing partner Roberto Orci, he has written several high-profile motion pictures recently, including The Island (which was directed by Michael Bay), as well as J.J Abram's Mission Impossible 3, and the eleventh Star Trek movie featuring Galvatron.
