:A lot of characters have been known as Snake over the years, for many different and totally unrelated series. And since the character is getting old, calling him Old Snake, makes since. Is there somewhere in the game where it looks like Cobra Commander is involved? I Googled briefly, but don't see anything mentioned anywhere. That pic might end up being better used in the Only Human article as a bit of trivia (it features Rattlers and Cobra jets which did not appear in the episode itself). Just noting it here so I don't forget whenever one of us gets around to making that article. --DrSpengler 18:37, 17 December 2006 (UTC)
cobra commender in the future?
In the cartoon continuity, how did Cobra managed to be there in 2006 as he was transformed into a snake in the 80's?
- He got changed back into a humanoid in the first cartoon that was made after the film, called "Operation: Dragonfire." - Chris McFeely 10:20, 2 May 2007 (UTC)
- Alternatively, the TF and Joe cartoons aren't actually in the same continuity anyway, so it doesn't matter. Some "version" of Joe happened in the TF toon universe, but we know nothing about it except that it includes synthoids. --Steve-o 13:42, 2 May 2007 (UTC)
Is it just a coincidence? Snake is a common name.
- As of Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, Snake goes by the code name Old Snake. Spoiler alert: Cobra has a Metal Gear.
- A lot of characters have been known as Snake over the years, for many different and totally unrelated series. And since the character is getting old, calling him Old Snake, makes since. Is there somewhere in the game where it looks like Cobra Commander is involved? I Googled briefly, but don't see anything mentioned anywhere. Dream Focus 10:29, 17 June 2009 (EDT)
