The name Dinobot has been applied to several Transformers characters and groups.
- 1985 — The Dinobots, an Autobot sub-group led by Grimlock in Generation 1
- 1994 — "The Dinobots!" a comic story published in the Official Transformers Generation 2 Annual.
- 1996 — Dinobot the Maximal velociraptor from Beast Wars.
- 1996 — Clone One, aka the Dinobot Clone, a beast-mode duplicate of the Maximal Dinobot from Beast Wars.
- 1999 — Dinobot II the Predacon Transmetal 2 clone of the Maximal Dinobot from Beast Wars.
- 2000 — The Dinobots Maximal sub-group led by T-Wrecks from Beast Machines.
- 2008 — The Dinobots, a trio of animatronic attractions that are turned into Autobots by Professor Sumdac from Transformers Animated
- 2008 — The Dinobots, a group of artificially intelligent warriors from the Shattered Glass universe.
"Dinobot" is also the Japanese name for Cruellock.
