Three comic lines have been produced in the Transformers Animated continuity:
- IDW Publishing
- Transformers Animated is an adaptation of the cartoon series using screen captures arranged in comic book-style panels.
- The Arrival is a series featuring original stories.
- Titan Books
- Transformers Animated, a short-lived UK-exclusive comic magazine.
- Transformers, which ran the leftover strips from the above comic.
Hasbro also released the exclusive comic First (and Second) in Flight bundled in with the Jetfire and Jetstorm two-pack. This issue was originally solicited as the sixth issue of The Arrival, but the standalone comic was later canceled. It was included in the trade paperback release though.
