Overload and the six other Legends class Constructicons combine to form Devastator. In Japan, the Legends class Constructicons are sold individually, blind-packed (all in similar packaging with no indication as to which toy one will receive).

In Hasbro's markets the Legends Constructicons are sold together as a store exclusive.

Trivia

• Like several recent Japanese Transformers toys, TakaraTomy has incorporated Overload's faction with his name in an effort to strengthen his trademark. Hasbro, however, has not had such problems to date with the name Overload in their markets.
