This article is about Bazooka, the Beast Wars Neo Predacon. For the G.I. Joe, see Bazooka (G.I. Joe).
Bazooka is a Predacon from the Beast Wars Neo section of the Beast Era.

Bazooka could probably teach Dinobot a thing or two about honor. When Bazooka makes a promise he sees it through to the bitter end. And if the bitter end means a gruesome death then, well, hey, at least he kept his word. This ironclad sense of duty and dedication has made him one of Magmatron's most loyal and appreciated subjects, which is something Bazooka takes great pride in. Alas, Bazooka naively expects the same standards of dedication and honor from his fellow Predacons, which is a pretty foolish thing to believe, considering the company he keeps.

Toys

Beast Wars Neo

  • Bazooka (Basic, 1999)
    • Japanese ID number: D-38
    • Accessories: Axe/blaster
Bazooka transforms into an organic Euoplocephalus ankylosaurian dinosaur. His beast-mode mouth opens slightly when you pull forward on the small spike on his right cheek, but frankly it's easier to just pull the top part of his head up. His tail is lightly spring-loaded so when you lift it (oh stop) and let go, the weak spring and gravity swing it down in a pounding attack. Both gimmicks barely work in robot mode, the tail section becoming a massive bicep-mounted shield. His tail hides a small weapon that can be used as either an axe or a blaster, depending on which peg is used to hold it.
This mold was also used the make the Walmart-exclusive Dinobots Slapper.

  • Utmost Limits Showdown: Bump VS Bazooka (Basic vs pack, 1999)
    • Japanese ID number: VS-38
    • Accessories: Axe/blaster
Bazooka was also available in a two-pack with the Maximal Bump. Both toys were identical to their individual releases.

Notes

  • Development art for the Bazooka toy shows another large panel of beast-mode back-armor hanging off his butt that does not exist on the final toy. Just where exactly this piece of kibble would go in beast mode is uncertain.
